Levels of Mana Lomi®
1. Three-Day Workshops (27 CE hours)
•   Level 1 – Clinical lomilomi techniques
•   Level 2 – Advance lomi skills
•   Lomi’ili’ili – Therapeutic Hawaiian hot stone therapy
•   Lomi 3 – Ho’onoho’iwi. Using bones to affect soft tissues

2. One-Day Workshop (8 CE hours)
•  Low back problems
•  Shoulder/neck problems
•  Pelvic/lower extremity problems

The National Certification Board of Therapeutic Massage and Bodywork (NCBTMB) approve all of our classes for CE hours. After successful completion of any of the three-day course, each student is required to submit 15 lomi reports that involve working on 15 different people using the ML techniques. The student’s instructor then evaluates these reports and gives feedback before finally approving the individual practitioner to officially use the trademark Mana Lomi® in their practice.  The one-day workshop does not qualify the practitioner to use the mark “Mana Lomi®” in their promotional materials.

The Mana Lomi® trademark is owned by Dr. Maka’ala Yates and is registered with the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office, Arlington, Virginia. Only authorized therapist and teachers under Maka’ala are allowed to use this trademark name in their work or teaching.

The Mana Lomi® technique is available for everyone who is open to learning the ancient Hawaiian ways of healing. We welcome all backgrounds of beliefs and nationalities and encourage our connection by eliminating separation.
